Recently appointed professor Ilja Voets has received a Technology Area grant for a collaboration between TU/e, Wageningen University, confocal.nl, Unliver and DSM. The research will comprise the visualization of different components in food, like proteins and carbohydrates, on a small scale. The study will thereby aid to gain insights on how natural and healthy foods can be produced in a sustainable way, without compromising flavour or texture.
