Biography:

After completing my Bachelor and Master studies in Chemistry at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, I started my PhD studies at Research Centre for Natural Sciences, Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. During my PhD studies my focus was on scattering techniques applied on self-assemblies. As a trainee I spent 10 months at Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center, Aarhus University, where I performed SAXS experiments on various systems. During my PhD I also obtained my teacher diploma. As a teacher I worked for four years in BME International Secondary Grammar School (established by Budapest University of Technology and Economics). After the completion of my PhD studies, I started working on biophysical systems (protein – gold complexes and blood derived vesicles and their derivatives) as a Research Fellow of Centre for Energy Research, Neutron Spectroscopy Department. In my investigations I combined SAXS and SANS experiments. Since February 2022, I have been a postdoc in Ilja Voets’ group.

Research interests:

I am working on the structural characterization of casein micelles.
